Optical Character Recognition support and bubble sheet marking
  • Exams, quizzes, surveys etc. could be printed out in a format where students or participants can indicate their answers on paper. These hard-copy documents can then be scanned and electronically marked by the system

Document Management of scanned written papers and assignments

  • Documents such as exam papers and assignments can be scanned and loaded into the system for future reference or audit purposes
  • Searches can be done on scanned documents via Optical Character Recognition functionality

Online payments
  • Courses, tests, surveys, etc. could be configured so that users must pay before being able to view or use the content
  • The system will be available as a hosted solution and clients could pay for it online and have the system set up for them immediately. Access to the system will be via the internet and the client would not have to worry over servers, IT staff, updates, availability and server software licensing

Integration API
  • A simple Application Programming Interface for allowing other software developers to integrate their software into the system, for example integration to a Payroll system or an in-house Content Management System

Workflow management
  • The ability to manage the publication of content by allowing authors to create content and then submitting it for approval. A moderator will be notified and must approve the content before the content is published for use in courses or exams for example

Moderated forums
  • Trainers or lecturers can open forums for their courses to publish extra information, cover FAQs, provide additional assignments etc.
  • Students can go to forums and ask questions in a forum environment to get help from peers or directly from a trainer or lecturer
  • Forums can be moderated to only allow content to be visible once it's been approved to meet the forum guidelines and policies

Interactive chat rooms

  • Students can ask questions and get answers in real time by logging into an active chat room
  • Content authors such as trainers or lecturers can interact with their peers while working on content for courses or building questions for example

Offline Availability

  • Build e-learning courses, questions, assessments, quizzes, surveys etc. offline and upload or synchronize to/with the server when done
  • Students can write exams offline and receive feedback immediately (depending on settings) and synchronize with the server once they reconnect to the server
  • Offline information such as questions and answers are maximally encrypted for security reasons
  • Certificates
  • Create certificate templates in an HTML editor by setting borders, including images and specifying place holders for names etc.
  • Be able to email or print certificates for students who have successfully completed a course or assessment
